Brampton commissioned the Heritage Heights CEP to identify a pathway to achieving a near net zero future for the Heritage Heights Community with much less reliance on fossil fuels for the heating and cooling of buildings and for transportation, and a greater focus on locally generated renewable energy. The CEP informed the development of energy and climate policy for the Heritage Heights Secondary Plan (Chapter 4). Working with colleagues from Garforth International Canada Inc., KFA contributed to the engagement activities and the integration of energy and planning methodologies.
